Arizona Appliance Rebates

Welcome to the future site for the Arizona Appliance Rebate Program.

Nearly $6.2 million in appliance rebates will be offered to Arizonans starting Monday, April 12, 2010 at 6:00 a.m. Arizona Time. This program is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 to help consumers make the switch to ENERGY STAR appliances.

Buy an energy efficient appliance for an Arizona home and get up to $200 for a clothes washer, $150 for a dishwasher, and $300 for a water heater, when you register for a rebate starting at 6 AM April 12. This story is wrong. You do not get the rebate prior to purchase. You are reserving a potential rebate, not applying for one, online or by phone. You must purchase BEFORE sending in your rebate application and they send you a prepaid visa card on acceptance.4-8 weeks.
The company setting up the web and phone centers has to be owned by some politicians niece or nephew. No way they got the job on merit.

No, you have to apply for the rebate first. If you are accepted, then you can buy the appliance and request the rebate. However, there's not much point if you haven't taken advantage of it, yet, because the lists for dishwashers and water heaters are closed and clothes washers are only accepting entries on the waiting list.
